I incorporate intricate saw piercing with form and movement, pieces are often 3D in shape. Many pieces are tactile and have hidden detail. It isn't hard to see what my biggest inspirations are…wildlife, animals and trees. I love problem solving to achieve a piece that reflects what I can see in my mind's eye. I make pieces from thicker metal and though they look delicate, they feel sturdy. Pieces vary in size from small designs to large statement pieces. The price range is predominantly between £50-£500. I trained for a number of years at the bench with a diamond mounter in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. I learned how the trade works and mastered many specialist skills and techniques, my first love is saw piercing.
